The Bermuda Football Association (BFA) is pleased to announce the official selection of the Senior Women’s National team that will be participating in the September 2023 match window for the 2023 Road to Concacaf W’s Gold Cup.

The selected squad, representing Bermuda, comprises a talented athletic group many of whom were on the undefeated team that participated in the 2023 NatWest International Island Games.

While training has been ongoing for our local players, the overseas players are set to return home and join their teammates in the final preparations for the first match on Friday, September22, 2023, against the Dominican Republic. As with our Men’s team, the following day the Women’s team will travel to St. Vincent and the Grenadines for their Away match against the SVG side.

"This team has been preparing for this moment since their Under-15 level. After the Island Games success, the team is in a great space," said Naquita Robinson, Senior Women’s Head Coach, when asked about her level of confidence in the team she has selected.

Robinson went on to shared her thoughts on going into the September fixture window, "We respect all opponents and will go into these games knowing we have to play our game. No game is won on paper or reputation. Our expectation as always is to win the group. If we play as we know how that will take care of itself."
