Concacaf held the official Women’s U17 Championship 2022 draw today, live on their YouTube Channel.
The Draw for the 2022 Concacaf Women’s Under-17 Championship (CWU17) was conducted in Miami, revealing the groups for next year’s tournament, which will take place April 23 – May 8, 2022, in the Dominican Republic.
The first round of qualifying for the 2022 CWU17 took place from October 20 to November 1, 2021, at the IMG Academy in Bradenton, FL, USA. After round-robin play, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Curacao, Honduras, and Guyana advanced directly to the Knockout Stage of the 2022 CWU17.
The CWU17 Championship will begin with a 16-team group stage. After round-robin play, the top three teams in each group will advance to the knockout stage joining the four teams from CWU17 Qualifying.
The results of Thursday’s Draw are as follows:
Group E: Mexico, Trinidad & Tobago, Panama, Nicaragua
Group F: Canada, Jamaica, Bermuda, Dominican Republic
Group G: United States, Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, Grenada
Group H: Haiti, Guatemala, El Salvador, Cuba
