The Bermuda Football Association (BFA) is pleased to announce that the application window for the BFA Legends Scholarship is now open. This scholarship is presented to Bermuda's aspiring football student-athletes who embody the spirit of the legends of the game in Bermuda.It also serves as a reminder to current players of the men and women who came before them.

First awarded in 2007, the Legends Scholarship has become an important strategic initiative under the BFA. The scholarship provides financial assistance to student-athletes who demonstrate excellence both on the field and in the classroom. The scholarship is open to all eligible football student-athletes.

"Every year, theBFA Legends Scholarship recognizes the outstanding achievements of our student-athletes and highlights legends from yesteryear," said Mark Wade,President of the BFA. " The 2023 legends are Marischal Astwood, GarretDill, Kirt Douglas, Dwayne Richardson, and Donnie Hill. All who graced the beautiful game in days of old. Young people are the future of Bermuda football, and we are proud to have this scholarship to support them in their academic and athletic pursuits."

The application window for the BFA Legends Scholarship will close on May 31, 2024. Awardees will be selected on or before June 21,2024. The scholarship presentation will take place on July 4, 2024.

To apply for the BFA Legends Scholarship, eligible football student-athletes must complete the application form and provide all required supporting documents to the BFA office on or before the application deadline date of May 31, 2024.
