Bermuda Captain Retires from International Football

Bermuda National Team Captain Dante Leverock has confirmed his retirement.

On Monday May 17th, Leverock posted this on his social media: “Thank you for all the memories Bermuda FA, the highs and the lows. Playing on the biggest stage representing and being captain of my country, there’s no bigger honour. The future is so bright for Bermuda football. I can’t wait to see the new heights they reach.”

Leverock has made 23 appearances for Bermuda while scoring 5 goals, being a key player in Bermuda squad. One of Leverock’s most famous goals is the historical goal he scored against Haiti in Bermuda’s opening match in the Gold Cup in 2019. Leverock scored Bermuda’s first ever Gold Cup Goal.
