All Girls' League Kicks Off

The Bermuda Football Association All Girls’ Leagues kicked off this weekend at Warwick Academy and The Clyde Best Centre of Excellence [CBCOE].

The U11 Girls kicked off first, at 2:00pm, on the Warwick Academy fields followed by the U9 Girls’ league, which kicked off at 3:00pm and 4:15pm, at the CBCOE.

In the All Girls’ U13 league, BFLA played against Dandy Stars, which ended 3-3. Zoe Mir, Taya Rodrigues, and Harlie Basden scored for BFLA, and the three goals Dandy Stars scored were by Lunna Hernandez, Shantia Berkeley, and Ny’asia White.

The U13 match between BHS/WA and YMSC ended 7-0 to BHS/WA. Ella Younie scored a hattrick in the match with goals also coming from Flora Betts, Kalea Walker, and Isabel Welch.

The U17 matches saw Dandy Stars take on BFLA Black, while BFLA Red played against BFA Blues. It was a 10-goal match between Dandy Stars and BFLA, with the match ending 4-6 to BFLA Black. Brianna Madeiros scored a hattrick in the match. Ny’asia White and Saana Simmons were both on the scoresheet with 2 goals. Jayla Peets, Christia Lugo, and Stacia Spurling were also on the scoresheet.

BFA Blues won their match against BFLA Red, with the game ending 2-3. Both of BFLA Red goals were scored by Robin-Valana Pearman, while the 3 goals from BFA Blues were shared by Emily Cabral, Amaya Derosa, and Asrael Basden.
