2024 Youth and Senior Award Nominees

May 8, 2024

For the 2023/24 Season, the Bermuda Football Association decided to combine the dates of its annual Awards ceremonies and host both events on Sunday, April 28, 2024. Each year the BFA Awards celebrates excellence in football and recognize the outstanding performances of players, coaches, and referees. These nominees are spread across our various division including the Premier Division, First Division, Women's Division, Under-13, Under-15, and this year the Under-18 leagues.

Nomination and Voting Process

The winners for All Categories of the Year awards are decided by a two-phase nomination process. In the first phase, Club coaches were required to nominate a player only from their team. Once all nominations were received from the Clubs, the list of nominations were compiled and sent to the clubs for the second phase of nominating. During thesecond phase, club coaches were required to select from the list of nominations. During this phase, the coaches could not select a player from their own team. Coaches were required to rank the top three players of their choice in each category. The top ranked player received five points, second ranked player received three points, and the third ranked player received one point. The award is presented to the player or coach who received the most points.
