Zebras win their 10th Friendship Cup final

What a difference a year makes for PHC.  Pembroke Hamilton Club Zebras looked to capture their (10th) Friendship Cup final when they met Southampton Rangers at the National Sports Centre (NSC). Zebras opened the scoring after they were awarded a penalty in the (17th). Team captain, Chris Furbert made no mistake as he calmly placed in the left corner to gives his team a (1-nil) lead. Two minutes before half-time, Rangers equalized the game when Jermaine Dill slotted the ball home after a goal mouth scramble. In the (70th) minute, Zebras took left wing corner kick, while right full back, Kevin Richards was unmarked in the six yard box. He wasted no time with a shot on goal as he placed the ball in the back of the net to give his Zebras a (2-1) lead that sealed the victory.

What a difference a year makes for the Zebras, this year they come away as winners of the Friendship finals defeating Rangers (2-1). It was only last year, when they went down the North Village Rams (7-3).

The Zebras have the most victories (10) winning the Friendship Trophy than any other club.
