The Bermuda Football Association (BFA) and Bermuda Hogges FC are pleased to announce the new league schedule for the United Soccer League Division 2, 2009. With that in mind, you recall the two parties merged earlier during the off season that will allow Bermuda's (U23) National Team play against the visiting teams when the Hogges host their home games.
The Hogges will be entering their (3rd) season in the league; this time around they will not only have the (BFA) blessing but full support moving forward. Rightfully so, the Hogges will play their matches first then the (U23's) the following day. In total, as many as (18) games will be played between the two parties; (9) at the National Sports Centre, by the Hogges and (9) by the (U23's) at the BFA gym Field. The Hogges will play their first home league match of the season against Harrisburg City Islanders, Friday, May 1st at the National Sports Centre, starting at (7pm).
As previously mentioned the (BFA) will share some of the cost for this new and exciting venture as the two parties see it to fruition.
In the end, this is a win-win situation for all participants involved.
