The Bermuda Football Association (BFA) is saddened by the unfortunate and untimely death of Andrew Jackson, son of Police Commissioner George Jackson and playing member of the Prospect United Football Club. Andrew was an avid football player and would be remembered attending the Dudley Eve Cup competition matches at Prospect Field on the afternoon of his accident.
Andrew will be sadly missed by the entire football family. We offer our heart-felt condolences to Commissioner Jackson and his family and pray that they will be comforted knowing that Andrew will be remembered by his teammates, opponents, coaches, referees and fans who had the opportunity to play and enjoy the sport of football against and along side of him.
May he rest in peace!
