Dear Colleagues,
Please be advised that as per my comments during the Semi-Annual Congress Meeting held Monday, February 9th, 2009 reference the CONCACAF Club Championship and contrary to what is reported in today’s Royal Gazette Sports section, please note that the Executive Council are diligently working to ensure that the 2008/09 League Champions are given the opportunity to participate in the 2009/10 CONCACAF Club Championship. However, please be very clear that the final decision will be dependent upon the format that CONCACAF implements as there is a wide variance in cost based on the several options being considered.
We have been advised that CONCACAF will provide a decision within the not too distant future.
