The Digicel Tournament currently played in the Cayman Islands, will resume today after Hurricane Gustav, passed overnight. Gustav was registered at category (1) however the Truman Boden Sports Complex, were the tournament is being played survived the hurricane conditions. This now means the Bermuda National Senior Men’s football team will play St. Martin today at (6pm), followed by the Cayman Islands at (5pm) Sunday afternoon.
At last report, the national team has now put their entire attention and focus on the match preparation for this evening’s game against St. Martin. Meanwhile, food is hard to come by therefore they are sorting out their meal plan now so that the players can have the proper nutrition for the match.
The team and players return home Tuesday, September 2nd.
