The Bermuda Football Association held a seminar for all referees this past weekend August 29 and 30 at the Bermuda College.
Under the guidance of the course were facilitators, Gregory Grimes, Chairman of Competitions and committee member, Lyndon Raynor.
In addition to covering the Laws of the Games they also covered:
· Law changes for 09\10
· Persistent infringements
· The Importance of Co-operation between the Referee and Assistant Referees.
There were lots of fruitful discussions and all in all the course was a success.
This will be followed up with a field session prior to the start of the season held at the BFA training facility.
The association will also be conducting a course for club assistant referees who will help out when there is a shortage. There will be a meeting of these persons at 5:30pm on Wednesday September 9, at the BFA boardroom.
