The following dates have been set up for players to try-out for the Bermuda Football Association National Academy program. The National Academy will be introduced based on the European Academy system whereby; players will be trained year-round and assessed annually on their progression in football. This structure will be the breeding ground for the future national team players that compete in international competition for Bermuda.
Each player will be selected based on their birth year and will follow a structured development program that will enable them to fulfill their potential. Players along with their parent/guardians will sign an agreement with the BFA to follow their “code of practice” that is in place under the guidance of FIFA’s code of conduct.
Players will be recommended to the BFA from their club programs to tryout over the Easter break at the times laid out below:
Only players that are recommended will be able to tryout.
Clubs have been contacted by the BFA for recommendations at each age group listed below. Players should contact their coaches to see if they have been selected if they have not already been contacted.
