      <title>First Round F.A. Cup Replay Matches</title>

        <![CDATA[<p style="text-align: center"><img alt="" width="125" height="125" src="http://www.bermudafa.com/imgs/bermuda-fa.jpg" /></p><h2 style="text-align: center">First Round F.A. Cup Replay&nbsp;Matches - 2/10/2013</h2><p>The replay matches of the first round of the Bermuda Football Association F.A. Challenge Cup matches will be played this weekend.</p><p>The defending champions Dandy Town Hornets will&nbsp;travel to Goose gosling Field (BAA) to&nbsp;lock horns&nbsp;again with&nbsp;Flanagan&rsquo;s Onions after battling to a 1-1 tie in the first match. St. George&rsquo;s Colts will make the journey to Southampton Oval to play Southampton Rangers for the second consecutive week. The teams played to a 1-1 tie in the first FA Cup match, and repeated the result with a 2-2 tie in the league this past weekend.</p><p>We will be gaurenteed a result in these matches as the teams will play overtime and advance to a&nbsp;penalty shootout if required to break a tie.</p><p>The draw for the next round of the FA Cup will take place on Monday February 11th, 2013 at the BFA offices.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><table border="1" cellspacing="2" cellpadding="2" width="650" align="center">    <caption><u><strong>First Round F.A.         <![CDATA[<p style="text-align: center"><img alt="" width="125" height="125" src="http://www.bermudafa.com/imgs/bermuda-fa.jpg" />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <img style="width: 122px; height: 125px" alt="" width="336" height="336" src="http://www.bermudafa.com/imgs/Bermuda%20Futsal%20Federation%20logo.jpg" /></p><h2 style="text-align: center"><strong>2013 Women&rsquo;s Futsal League</strong></h2><p>The 2013 Bermuda Futsal Federation&rsquo;s&nbsp;women&rsquo;s&nbsp;league play&nbsp;will begin&nbsp; Saturday January 19, 2013 at the Dellwood Middle School&nbsp;gymnasium.&nbsp;The league will consist of seven teams representing the following clubs:</p><p><strong>NVCC, Dandy Stars Brown, Dandy Stars Gold, PHC, SCC, YMSC, HPWC</strong></p><p>North Village are the defending champions from the 2012 inaugural season, and are again expected to contend for honors alongside Dandy Stars, PHC and a youthful but talented Somerset team. Social Club and Hamilton Parish are newcomers to the league and will be unknow factors.</p><p>All league matches will be played at the Dellwood Middle School gym for the duration of the season beginning at 5:00 PM.</p><p>The Bermuda Futsal Federation invites the public to bring their families to the games and support the growth of women&rsquo;s football.       <title>Griffith Chairman of CFU Audit Committee</title>

        <![CDATA[<p>The Bermuda Football Association (BFA) passes on the announcement by the CFU of the appointment of BFA Treasurer - Andrew Griffith as the Chairman of the CFU Audit Committee. CFU is the 25 country regional union that encompasses the islands of the Caribbean. The term of appointment is 4 years.<br /><br />Other members are Daryl Michael (Antigua &amp; Barbuda), Frederick Lunn (Bahamas), Ken Whiteman (Grenada) and Derek George (St. Lucia).<br /><br />The goal of the Committee shall be to assist the Executive Committee of the Union in fulfilling its responsibilities in respect of overseeing the CFU&rsquo;s financial reporting process, including the internal control structure and procedures for financial reporting and monitoring the integrity and appropriateness of the Union&rsquo;s financial statements; the manner in which the Union&rsquo;s Executive Committee ensures and monitors the adequacy of financial, operational and compliance internal controls and risk management processes designed to manage significant risk exposures; the selection, compensation, independence and performance of the CFU&rsquo;s external auditors; and the independence and performance of the Union&rsquo;s internal auditors.<br /><br />Griffith was appointed late last year to the CONCACAF Audit and Compliance Committee.<br /><br />Griffith is a long standing elected Treasurer of the BFA. He has represented Bermuda at various meetings of the Caribbean Football Union (CFU), CONCACAF and FIFA Congresses over the many years. Additionally, he has met with FIFA Officials at annual meetings to present the audits of the funds granted to the BFA by FIFA. The BFA has always had a clean independent audit of such FIFA Funds and our audit has always been one of the first to be received and approved annually by FIFA. <br /><br />Griffith has also led the way for the independent audits of the BFA to be prepared in a timely manner and presented to the BFA Congress and public. The KMPG audited financial statements of the BFA for the year ended 30 April 2012 were presented to the BFA AGM on 27 September 2012. <br /><br />Griffith is a Chartered Accountant and is the Chief Financial Officer of a local group of companies with many Financial Controllers reporting to him across the group.<br /><br />The BFA and Bermuda can be proud that Griffith has been appointed as chair of the Committee as it continues to show that Bermuda football officials are respected for our professionalism and administration of the game. It also demonstrates that our BFA officials represent football at the CFU, CONCACAF and FIFA levels.</p>]]>

        <![CDATA[<p><span>Bermuda Football Association held their 10<sup>th</sup> edition of the 2009/10 end of season Awards Ceremony at Devonshire Recreation Club with over 80 guests in attendance.</span>&nbsp;</p><p style="text-align: justify"><span>For the first time in its<a href="http://www.bermudafa.com/docs/2009-10%20season%20awards%20.pdf"> historical history,</a> the top three goal scorers during the domestic season representing the Premier, First and Women&rsquo;s Division captured the MVP coveted award in their respective division during the same season. Nahki Wells, Dandy Town Hornets, Jahron Dickinson, St. Georges Colts and Shauntae Todd of NVCC Lady Rams walked away with the MVP and goal scorer&rsquo;s awards. </span>&nbsp;</p><p style="text-align: justify"><span>More history was made for Coach of the year. Leroy Wilson of Dandy Town Hornets was awarded Coach of the Year in the Premier Division, while Richard Todd, of St. George&rsquo;s Colts won Coach of the Year in the First Division.
