Logo Competition
Last month the Bermuda Football Association, (BFA) announced they will be having a forum, titled “Football the Game of Life,” that will be held Saturday, September 13th, at the Berkeley Institute School.
It was announced that a logo competition will take place and the winner will have their logo printed on T-Shirts, Golf Shirts, Banners and future (BFA) Youth apparel.
Unfortunately, no one stepped forward within the time frame allotted for the competition, however Gerri Saltus, Creative Director for the Bermuda Sun, designed the first ever logo for the forum.
On hand to unveil the new logo was Bermuda Football Association (BFA) Chairman of the Youth Committee, Calvin Blankendal and Mikre Pace, head coach (U18) Boulevard Blazers team.
The purpose for this forum is to have all youth players that are representing their respective clubs to come together as one. This will be an opportunity not only for players but parents to unite and have a better understanding for the love of each other. The forum will entail speeches from various guests on the rules and regulations of the game and most important having the true understanding of why education is paramount in order to advance to the next level in life and respect for one another on and off the field.
Premier, the Hon. Ewart Brown, will be one of the many speakers attending as he will deliver a message to our youth and parents as well.
