Referees Committee of the Bermuda Football Association, will be having meetings to outline the upcoming 2008/09 football season which is only a few months away.
To date, (28) local referees have joined this most prestigious fraternity, while at the same time the Association is always looking for a few good men and women to come on board and be a part of the Bermuda Football Association, Family of Football.
During the past (5) years some of the local referees have had the opportunity to better their skills by attending the Intermediate Referee Course (IRC) in Trinidad & Tobago, hosted by the English FA, refereed in the Caribbean Football Union, (CFU) in 2007 and the Island Games last year.
With that said, this coming Sunday, the Referees Committee will be having an open session at the Bermuda Athletic Association (BAA) to discuss a number of issues.
· New upgrading policy for present and new referees
· Outline courses for the beginning of the season
· Provide information on the new FIFA Referees Assistant Program (RAP)
The meeting will commence at 9:30am - 1pm.
