The Bermuda National Senior Women’s Football team have chosen (35) players as they prepare to play (3) matches against (2) Universities next month.
John Carroll University, located in University Heights, Ohio, just east of Cleveland, will play (2) matches, while Babson College, of Wellesley, Massachusetts, will play the other. This will be an opportunity for the coaching staff to take a look at some of the younger players who are looking to make a break through the National Senior team. Meanwhile, the National squad are also preparing for next year’s Nat West Island Games to be hosted in Aland, just off Sweden. Bermuda first competed in the tournament in 2005 and again in 2007, coming away with the bronze medal on both occasions.
Head Coach Vance Brown and Assistant Jeremy Salaam, will be putting their squad through their paces this coming Saturday at the T.N. Tatem Middle School at 4pm.
