Thousands of football fans gathered outside the National Sports Centre, prior to the start of the 2nd leg of the World Cup Qualifier featuring our own Bermuda Gombey Warriors and Trinidad & Tobago Soca Warriors.
At least 5,400 or more beloved fans attended the all important match on Sunday evening hoping our Gombey Warriors would advance to the group stages of the World Cup. However that was not the case, the Gombey Warriors came up short against the Soca Warriors, losing 2-nil at the (NSC) overall 3-2 on goal aggregate.
The National Senior Men’s team now will solely turn their attention to the Digicel Cup that will be played in the Cayman Islands during the month of August.
