The spot light on football does not stop with our National Senior Men’s World Cup team; the Bermuda Football Association, Family of Football continues to strive forward.
Our National U20 World Cup Qualifying team will be off to Reading Pennsylvania, Saturday, June 14th, for a (1) week training session as they prepare for the their World Cup Qualifying tournament, next month to be played in the Cayman Islands.
During their (7) day stay, the squad will play (3) matches against Reading Rage U20’s, while the remaining (3) days will consist of training. This is an opportunity for Head Coach, Kentoine Jennings, and his coaching staff to weigh in first hand where his team stands and improvements that need to be worked on.
Coach Jennings, and his Assistant Coach, Jack Castle, started working with the Youth Program since the month March, with a squad of (60) players vying for a spot within the National Youth Team. They’ve narrowed the team down to (20) players for this trip however this is not the final team for next month’s World Cup Qualifier.
