National Football Coach Names his Coaching Staff
Darrell and Todd named to the Coaching Staff
With the appointment of Bermuda National team Head Football Coach Kenny Thompson last month, he has take the opportunity to take care of his business working with a number of assistant coaches during his training and practice sessions as he prepares the team for the World Cup Qualifier against Trinidad & Tobago next week.

We are pleased to announce that former National Head Coach Gary Darrell will join the ranks of Thompson’s coaching staff as his technical assistant, and Richard Todd will come on board as well in the capacity of his assistant. Todd will be with the National program through the Digicel Cup tournament. Both men bring knowledge, experience and wisdom to the fraternity, and what many consider a power house coaching team.

As mentioned previously, Vic Bettinelli, Head Goalkeeping Coach and Assistant Youth Team Coach for Fulham FC arrived on the island this past Sunday to study and specialize working with our goalkeepers. For the past (4) days he has worked with our Senior National goalkeepers providing all the information and improvements they need before the big show. You recall during the month of April, the team trained at Fulham FC for (1) week, this provided Bettinelli a better understanding of our goalkeepers.

During the next (3) weeks he will be working with the U20 and U17 National goalkeepers and he is planning on working with senior Women and young girls as well.

Finally, Bettinelli, will be conducting a clinic during the Summer Fest on Friday, June 13th and Saturday June 14th.
