Vic Bettinelli, Head Goalkeeping Coach and Assistant Youth Team Coach, for Fulham FC, arrived in Bermuda this past Sunday to assist with the Bermuda National Senior Men’s football team and other national programs within the Bermuda Football Association.
Bettinelli, brings a wealth of experience in this area that will be of great importance for Bermuda. The timing could have not been any better, as the National Senior Men’s team will play a (2) leg series against Barbados, beginning Friday June 6th, at the National Sports Centre (NSC) and again Monday June 9th.
Already he has made his presence felt, as he attended the Senior National teams training session Monday evening at the National Sports Centre. He worked alongside head coach Kenny Thompson and then worked with the goalkeepers. He will be with the Association up until the (2) leg series of the World Cup Qualifier against T & T.
Not only will he be working with the National programs but he will be conducting a goalkeeper’s clinic for all football clubs.
