Barbados vs Bermuda confirmed for June
Bardos and Bermuda will play (2) friendly matches
Barbados vs Bermuda

Bermuda’s National football team returned home last week Friday from Fulham FC, London England, after a successful (1) week training session.
The (19) men squad took advantage of some of the world’s top technology with the  Pro Zone tutorial, training under the guidance of Fulham FC coaching staff and playing a friendly match against Chelsea FC reserves before their return home.

To date we are  (35) days away from the second stage of the World Cup football qualifier against Trinidad and Tobago, who played in their first World Cup tournament 2006, in Germany. With little time to waste, we continue to train and work hard daily with the national squad as time is of the essence. With that in mind, the Bermuda national team will play (2) friendly matches against Barbados, beginning Friday June 6, and again Monday June 9th at the National Sports Centre. Although these two matches will be friendly matches, we will not be taking them lightly, that’s why the coaching staff will be paying close attention to details of every player against Barbados.

This will be somewhat of a test for those players who just returned from Fulham FC trip; although their time was limited overseas this will give us an opportunity to see firsthand their performance locally. With (2) practice matches scheduled for Barbados, expect changes within the squad for each match.

At this present moment (25) players are currently training with the national squad. However some players are under contract with the Bermuda Hogges, who have been unable to attend some training session but they’ve been replaced with players from the U20 national team. Otherwise, the training sessions have been up to par, it’s now time to display in game situations.
