Senior National Team Traing Session Underway
Squad Training At Fulham FC
The Bermuda Senior National football team has had a smooth and enjoyable experience thus far in England after departing the island Sunday evening.

On arrival date, the schedule went like clockwork. They had no problems clearing Gatwick Airport security for the Bermuda team; it was a smooth transition from the Airport to the Bus Coach and onto our Hotel.

The team ate breakfast and then rested for a few hours as everyone was getting used to the time zone. We had breakfast and lunch in a matter of hours, before they had their first training session in the afternoon at Fulham FC training facility.

Fulham staff conducted the training session which lasted some (2) hours. To their surprise, the players were in excellent condition, considering the (7) hour flight from Bermuda – England and arriving Monday morning at 6:15am. The training session lasted for (2) hours, and by the time they returned to the hotel for dinner, majority of the players and staff were in bed.

Tuesday, produced another day of training featuring (2) sessions for the day. This time, the squad trained at the Sports Complex of London School of Economics. During the morning session, players had their challenges dealing with cold and wet conditions, while the afternoon the weather conditions improved as the temperature started to make things warmer for everyone, still not beach weather conditions. Through all of that, the training sessions remained upbeat as they players remained focused on their goals. Although weather conditions improved, a few woolen hats and gloves showed up.

Today, the squad will rest in the morning, but will have another training session in the afternoon at Fulham FC training facility starting at 2pm. Meanwhile, Technical Director, Derek Broadley and Assistant Coach Kenny Thompson, will attend the Pro Zone tutorial at Fulham FC in the morning.
